Cathy Brodie, REALTOR PARTNER, 100% Club, brings a strong background in Business Management, with a major telecommunications company in New England, PLUS 18 years experience as a REALTOR. Her vast knowledge of the Island & its history brings insight to her clients. Cathy’s experience, professional knowledge, honesty & caring are a winning combination for our clients. Cathy is a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and is President of the Board at her beachfront condo.  

Nancy Meyers, ABR, GRI, REALTOR PARTNER, 100% Club, hails from Northville, Michigan, where she had a very successful real estate career. She brings to the Team 14 years of success specializing in luxury property sales as a Corporate Property Specialist. Nancy & her yacht broker husband, Carl, have been homeowners on Marco since 1985 and own a 52' sailboat docked at their home in the River neighborhood. Nancy offers valuable expertise in properties for boaters, along with exceptional personal service to all of her clients. 

Tom Harlow, REALTOR PARTNER, 100% Club and Hall of Fame, a native Ohioan and graduate of Ohio University, brings a wealth of sales knowledge and experience to the Team. After 22 years as a sales rep for a large manufacturing corporation, Tom and his wife, looking to “live the dream”, relocated to Marco Island in 1983. For the last 20 years Tom has been a full time Realtor and offers to our clients extensive knowledge and guidance in all facets of real estate. He is an avid “Barbershop singer” and enjoys performance car restoration in his “spare time”. 

Mari-Jo Koval, CRS, GRI, Broker Salesperson, 100% Club, brings to the Team over 23 years of real estate experience. Her specialty in marketing custom homes, design & construction & corporate relocation is a great asset to the Team. Her real estate career began in the Chicago suburb of Naperville where she won top industry awards. In 1998 she relocated to Marco Island where she and her husband, David, reside in a waterfront home at the South end of the Island. Mari-Jo’s dedication to our client’s needs is unsurpassed. 

Rachel A. DeHanas, ABR, CRB, CRS, GRI, SRES brings to the team tremendous experience. Licensed in 1983, she has attained advanced designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative, Certified Real Estate Broker, Certified Residential Specialist & Senior Real Estate Specialist. Rachel is licensed in FL, MD, VA & DC & has excellent European contacts. She has been ranked in the Top 100 REALTORS® in the U.S by National Realtor Magazine as well as Top 100 Agents RE/MAX International 3 years in a row among her many accolades. Rachel is an active Rotarian. 

Robin Taylor, REALTOR PARTNER, began her Marco Island real estate career in 1988 and was one of the originators of the “Pitch Plus” home tours at the Marco Island Area Association of Realtors. She staffed the prestigious Larry Taylor Construction model homes, which she owned along with her builder husband Larry. Robin has a wealth of knowledge of Marco Island home construction as well as being a talented decorator, which is a great benefit to our clients. In addition, she is known for her outstanding attention to detail and dedication to serving our clients’ best interests. 

Administrative Team 

Luisa Nagel, Listing and Administration Manager, has an outstanding background in Office Management and Advertising. A Graduate with Honors from Rutgers University, Luisa is also fluent in Spanish. In addition, she graduated from Berkley School of Business and Holiday Inn University in General Manager Executive Training. Luisa’s wealth of knowledge is complemented by her total commitment to serving our clients. Luisa resides on Marco Island. 

Karen Nowakowski, Closing Manager/Bookkeeper, uses her outstanding background with 10 years in real estate closings to provide our clients with the highest level of knowledge, experience, organization and professionalism in being the advocate for our clients in their real estate closings. Karen and her husband, Joe, reside on Marco Island and are the proud parents of Anthony, who is a student at the University of Florida on an academic achievement scholarship. 

Tracey Taylor, Advertising and Systems Manager, uses her broad experience in advertising, office administration and management to achieve the highest levels of professional and timely service for our clients. Tracey’s proudest accomplishments are her many “Customer Service Awards.” She is dedicated to making sure that every Sandlin Team client receives the personal service they deserve. Tracey and her husband, Robbie, reside on Marco Island with their two children, T.J. and Kelsey. 

Rivka Mascoop, Communications Manager, brings excellent administrative experience to the Sandlin Team and an extensive educational background. Rivka’s experience in counseling and education provide her with valuable communications skills critical to providing our clients an extraordinary level of personal service. Rivka is a native of Tel Aviv, Israel and is also proud to hail from Boston, Ma. She moved to Marco Island two and a half years ago where she resides with her newly wed husband, Elliott. 

Judy Durbin, Administrative Assistant, brings to the team 28 years of Government experience in administration and executive management. Judy’s professional background and excellent communication skills have equipped her to coordinate the myriad of phone and personal communications with our valued clients and our team. Judy lives in Naples and has 4 children and 10 grandchildren. 

Donna Torchia, Weekend Receptionist, is an executive secretary graduate of Berkeley Business College, East Orange, N.J. She worked for a large corporation and Ocean County government. Donna has two sons. She moved to Marco Island 10 years ago and worked in real estate, as a receptionist and as a secretary for a local CPA firm. Her attention to detail is a great benefit to our clients.
